Holman only had one envelope when he wrote his card for Ellie. Apparently he started drawing a scroll under her name, didn’t like it, but knew he had committed to it. So he wrote a little note explaining the scroll and drew a little emoji, hoping to at least give Ellie a laugh. It was an adorable success as you can see!
Their reception was at the Como Zoo Conservatory and when it came time for the toasts, Ellie and Holman got a special treat: the first song ever written for and about them. Holman’s brother wrote them a song that I still find my self humming to this day (and yes, sometimes more than humming. I know the last verse by heart.) It was a proper tribute to an amazing couple.
Congratulations, Ellie and Holman!
