Chersti and Paul had already married officially earlier in the year but decided they wanted to have a wedding to celebrate with their family and friends. So in early December, with the Lafayette Club already decked out for the holidays, they had a ceremony and reception filled with singing, music, good food and good friends.
For their ceremony, they decided on a unique twist to the traditional symbol of coming together – instead of lighting candles, pouring sand or tying rope, they decided to do a shot of a special tequila! It was a nice moment of levity in what was otherwise a tearful ceremony. Chersti not only sang at the ceremony to Paul, but also during dinner in a trio with her father and uncle. We wrapped up the night covering Chersti’s bouquet toss and Paul’s unforgettable garter dance. It was a great end to our 2019 wedding season!
