Brittany and Tom got married on the campus of their alma mater, at The Chapel of St Thomas Aquinas. It was so great to follow them around to their old haunts, the lawn in front of the library, the arches, and finally the steps up to the Chapel. Much of their bridal party was at home as well. Usually you have to be careful that no one gets lost on the way to take pictures, but this group was like “yeah, I know that tree. Meet you at the corner!” They laughed and joked like they were on their way to class. I seemed to remember some “Office” references as well, further adding to the feeling that we stepped back in time.
Their reception at Nicollet Island Pavilion looked out on one of the last golden sunsets of fall. When we went out for pictures, I just remember hardly having to prompt them to do anything. They were so clearly mad about each other just standing out there in the sun on their wedding day seemed to light them up!
