We had so much fun with Abby and Stephen at Loring Park! We popped champagne and almost made a new random friend (which will happen when you pop champagne), and we waaay over-shot pictures of Abby’s amazing ring.
When we get really excited about things, we end up with a lot of pictures of it – usually it’s dogs, but in this case, Abby’s ring is an heirloom that belonged to her great-aunt. We’ve seen some beautiful rings, and some that have specific designs with personal significance, but it’s so meaningful just to have a piece of jewelry passed down from a loved one. I hate to quote Devil wears Prada, but I keep hearing Nigel saying it’s “greater than art, because you live your life in it.”
It’s so cool that this piece of jewelry that she’s making memories with every day may someday be handed down to another family member, who will then have these photos of Abby wearing it! You can see why we shot it a lot!
