Megan and Weston had a beautiful backyard wedding at Weston’s childhood home. They joked with Weston’s parents that they can never move now; the house is even more special! And with a few smart tweaks, they made it safe to include some extended family and friends in their day.
They live-streamed their ceremony so people could watch from anywhere, and a few parked alongside the big yard and sat in their cars or lawn chairs to watch the ceremony and hear the audio on their phones or tablets. So smart!
For the guests that couldn’t join in for dinner, they had individual cake slices already wrapped up by Muddy Paws (your go-to place for cheesecake, in case you didn’t know!).
Backyard weddings are always a big effort. Family, friends, and especially a very crafty and organized DIY bride put in a lot of time and planning to make a beautiful venue out of a beautiful backyard. But that big effort comes with a big payoff. The place where Megan and Weston were married isn’t a room somewhere that they will never visit again. It will stay with them and be a reminder of their day!
