There are grand entrances, and then there’s Rollo’s. Linnea and Will’s beloved pup came sprinting down the aisle at Nicollet Island Pavilion, tail wagging and crowd cheering — setting the perfect tone for a day full of love, laughter, and a few happy tears. Surrounded by family, friends, and one very good boy, these two made promises that felt as genuine and joyful as their smiles.
Their ceremony was made even more personal with Linnea’s brother Gabe officiating — a role he filled with tenderness and humor. As he put it, “You’ve been my closest partner my whole life, and now Will gets to spend the rest of his life with you by his side.” There wasn’t a dry eye in the room (and maybe one or two people googled “how to be a super mother-in-law” after Linnea and Will’s moms’ combined toast).
Between the heartfelt vows and the joyous dance floor, one thing was clear: these two are a true team. “You are my home, my safe place,” Linnea said. “But you’re also my wings, my disco ball.” Will’s vows matched her warmth — promising to “go through life’s chapters together until the last, and then a new book with you again.”
Friends described Linnea as “exactly who you want with you in both a crisis and on the dance floor,” which turned out to be prophetic, because this dance floor was alive. From joyful toasts to glowing string lights reflected off the Mississippi River, the whole evening felt like a celebration of adventure, partnership, and finding your person — even if it starts with a flight to Utah and a smile you just can’t forget.
