We love shooting at the Northern Pacific Center and every time we come back there are new areas to discover. My favorite moment from the day though happened in the space that we’ve always shot in – the reception hall. Here’s a toast idea that is brilliant, but not everyone can pull it off: I love when family or friends describe their first impressions from early in the relationship. Sometimes it can be hazy because it was so long ago, or inaccurate because they were nervous, but sometimes the laughter in the room tells you it was dead accurate.
When Chandler was described as “a competitive ray of sunshine,” the knowing laughs came from all around the room. I didn’t see Chandler try her hand at the bag toss game in the reception hall, so I can’t speak to her competitiveness personally, but I think “ray of sunshine” captured both her and Zach really well. They both lit up whenever they were with each other or their bridal party, and their sense of humor was as goofy as it was genuine.
