One of the unsung perks of having a wedding, your dog gets a drink names after them. The guests at Heather and Kevin’s wedding enjoyed The Jovie Rose and The Farley at the lovely Quarterdeck Resort. The dogs enjoyed romping around in the grass. Aaaaand probably the cookies shaped like their faces.
Another perk, you get to see dogs react to confetti, which is endlessly entertaining, and I would recommend it anytime, not just if you’re getting married. When Jovie and Farley saw the confetti go up, they were poised to jump at it like a ball, but then it split into hundreds of pieces and they didn’t know which piece to look at. So cute!
Speaking of cute, that’s the word for Heather and Kevin. Heather played Tinkerbell in Disney on ice, and apparently Kevin would sit in the audience and say, “I know her!” whenever she skated past him. How sweet is that!? By the way, that’s Heather being thrown in the air in the beginning of the video THE DAY BEFORE her wedding. I know couples who avoid anything remotely hazardous for weeks before their wedding – and then there’s Heather flying through the air and cheering on all her friends and family who were brave enough to take a turn as well!
Heather and Kevin, you are so special. Congratulations to you both, and Farley and Jovie. You are now a furry family!
