Having been present when they got engaged, we were so excited to see Sade and Katrina again to shoot their engagement photos at Taylors Falls. They were a little nervous at first, since they were totally occupied the first time we shot them and didn’t have the time to feel self-conscious about the camera – Sade because she was running around getting everything set up for the proposal as fast as she could, and Katrina because she was walking around discovering surprise after surprise. But we knew they’d take some great photos together since they make each other laugh and are clearly crazy in love.
Sade planned the most amazing, thoughtful, elaborate proposal and somehow managed to keep it a secret from Katrina. Seriously, she could write a book or manual on how to pull this off. We’re so excited to see what they decide to plan for their wedding day, but Sade, if you’re feeling the pressure to top the proposal, just remember, all you need for a great wedding day is what you had at the engagement session – make each other laugh and be crazy in love.
